White Beach is a US naval base near my house. 10 minutes by car? Smashmouth came to play. Free! Yippee! They played a 90 minute show. It rained a bit during the first hour...but the last 30mins..it  POURING. I had to seek shelter. I could still hear the show. They covers the last 30mins plus ended with "Allstar". Here's some of the pics.

Bass player played two jazz basses..both the two knob version. Those were the original ones made in 1964. The basses
he played looked new though..must be reissues are a custom model.

The guitarist played a white and black stratocaster. The guitarist and bass players  used only Fenders.

I was at Fukuoka for three days for school. Here are some piccies:

The first one is vanilla bean

I like this one. It's like those milk flavored white chocolate kit kats but with a definite vanilla taste. (The milk
Kit Kat do have more of a cream/milk flavour than the white chocolate ones).

Hmmm. OK let's see what's next.

Orange chocolate- on the back it boasts that there are "Italian blood oranges" used in it.
Notice that the oranges are very red looking.

Well, it taste different than I expected. It isn't a sweet orange taste but rather a bitter one as if the taste of the peels
are more pronoucned. I do like it however. 

Makes you wonder what Kit Kat Japan employees do.. There must be a few people whose main job is only
to think of what limited edition flavour is next. They come out so often and fast these days. Usually two or three at the same time for two or three months and then there's more new flavours.

   I was driving past this new building/mall thing called music town. I saw the building one but it looked pretty empty. Well, it still is. Anyways, yesterday I pasted by it and saw WENDY's!!! They never had it on Okinawa..(actually Naha may have had one built recently) thought they had them in Tokyo for sure

I went to Wendy's once before. When I was eight or something. I've been to the states many times after that but never got a chance to go there. Once, two years ago while in Hawaii, I was riding with my friend Derek and saw Wendy's. I wanted to go but he drove past it. I just wanted a frosty!! That bastard!

Anyways, I when there for lunch for my lunch break. There were many Americans there of all ages.
I didn't want to use a flash cause...I didn't want to be obvious.

 Here's what I ordered:

It tasted OK. This one was sloppily made as you can see. (very unJapanese). I think the local A&W's might even be better.

Afterwards, I tried to order a frosty. They sold out or something! bastards!!! I'll have to go again I guess.

 It was ok. The thing in the gold foil was cheese. (processed)


I went to Pizza House Jr for dinner.

It's was pretty good. 

Yes, I havent bought new ones in awhile. There is also a peach one out, I haven't triend too.
OK, this first one is
TAHITIAN VANILLA

It says on the box it uses 51% Tahitian Vanilla flavoring.
Well, the taste is mild actually. It is a limited edition, seasonal flavor. It seems like
it could be a standard flavor though because it's mildly flavor..and hey...vanilla. There is no
vanilla pocky as a standard flavor.


Next Flavor is from the mousse pocky series, Tiramisu.
As soon as you open the bag, you the aroma of chocolate/coffee hits you.


This one has a rich flavor. Yum.
